GardenKind is a free research prototype. We want feedback without asking for personal details.
Optional site analytics
We use privacy-conscious analytics only if you choose to allow it. When configured and you opt in, Google Analytics 4 can record pages viewed and broad events such as starting a planner, exporting a plan, choosing a small activity, or submitting feedback. It may collect cookies, approximate location, browser/device details, and technical identifiers. Google processes that information under its privacy policy.
We do not send your garden measurements, reach, energy or care preferences, health details, feedback selections, or written comments to Google Analytics. The feedback system is separate. Google Analytics is not loaded until you have opted in and the integration is active.
You can refuse analytics and continue using the full planner and feedback form. Change your choice any time using Analytics preferences in the website footer; turning it off stops further GardenKind analytics and attempts to clear its first-party Google Analytics cookies. Turning it off does not retroactively erase data Google already received.
What you send
Only the answers you choose in the feedback form: your selected gardening obstacle, suggested improvement, hypothetical price interest, and any optional comment. Garden measurements, task choices, and the printable plan are not sent with your feedback.
What not to include
Please don't include your name, email address, phone number, address, or medical details. We automatically remove recognizable email addresses and phone numbers from written comments before saving, but cannot guarantee detection of every identifier.
Where it goes
Submitted answers are stored as individual records in a private Vercel Blob store. Authorized project administrators can review them to understand common requests and improve the prototype. The site does not publish individual responses. The hosting provider may process ordinary network connection metadata to deliver the site even if you decline optional analytics.
How long it's kept
During recurring reviews, submissions older than 90 days are deleted. This means deletion may take place shortly after the 90-day mark rather than on the exact day. If automatic reviews stop, records may remain until the next cleanup. We'll reevaluate this policy before opening the site to wider participation.
Your choices
Optional analytics and feedback submission are independent choices. Submitting feedback is optional. The form asks for your consent and allows you to remove the submission immediately after sending it, while that browser session remains open. You can also save a copy of your answers without sending them.
Does feedback guarantee a feature?
No. We study patterns and accessibility needs, then test proposed changes. Stated willingness to pay is not counted as a purchase or reservation.
